About Me

Miriam Ismail

Hi, I’m Miriam, I’m a qualified counsellor in practice since 2015 and have experience with helping adults with a wide variety of problems. My background is in business management, with a career spanning 20 years. I have a wealth of experience in supporting people with work related issues.


I am a Trauma Informed Person Centred Counsellor, trained in Humanistic techniques and I will tailor the sessions to meet your specific needs. 


I have volunteered as a Counsellor at New Dawn New Day, providing therapeutic support to vulnerable women affected by trauma.


I have volunteered as a Counsellor at Quetzal, supporting women recovering from the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, providing emotional and therapeutic support. 

My Memberships and Qualifications

  • I am an accredited registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society - NCPS and adhere to their code of ethics.
  • I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists - BACP and adhere to their code of ethics.
  • Registered Rewind Practitioner with the International Association for Rewind Trauma Therapy - IARTT
